Finding a Birth Mother

Through almost 30 years of adoption practice, Heart2Heart Adoptions has developed a nationwide network of adoption professionals who work with expectant mothers. These professionals often contact us requesting qualified family profiles to present to expectant mothers. Increasingly, birth mothers we have worked with in the past are referring to us their friends and family who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. This is one of the highest compliments we receive because it indicates that we cared for and respected them during the process.

An important thing to keep in mind is that the more people who know you are looking to adopt, the better your chances for success. We actively encourage you to work with as many reputable places as possible. No matter how you find your baby, we are happy for you! You will need to decide if you want to work with an adoption attorney, an agency, a facilitator, an advertiser, or a consultant. Make sure you ask what their policy is regarding working with more than one adoption professional simultaneously. Be careful and read the fine print to see what their rules are if you find a baby on your own or through another source. Many adoption entities will not refund money you previously paid them.
